Joined: Thu Feb 16, 2012 3:32 pm Posts: 1184 Location: Luton Drives: Aygo Black V1 | Ok In true MCM style ive been reading around the web and thinking if theres any other engines that can fit in the Bug Our cars use the 1KR-F3 Engine This is also used in the 2004- Daihatsu Sirion / Toyota Passo / Perodua MyVi Although this car is slightly wider it is also available with a 1.3 Four Cylinder K3-VE engine Theres also a 1.0 liter turbo version So you can see where im going with this im wondering if the engines would fit into the Aygo with out lots of modding to frame mounts etc. _________________ Your car is your story, so don't let someone else write the book. Any smallish - 1.6 or less - ought to go with the minimum of fuss. I've heard that the 106 GTi/Paxo VTS motor fits without too much hassle ands gives a genuine 125 out the crate, with 140+ with simple mods. As a minimum your going to need to fabricate engine mounts, shortened driveshafts, exhiast etc. in comparison any sheet metal changes is pretty easy.
